SD Homes is a family-run building business that started as a father-son duo and continues today as a husband and wife team.  Since starting the business in 2002 we have built many brand new homes as well as renovated and extended countless others on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane.  

 

Offering a personalised service is something SD Homes brings to the building industry and it is a quality we pride ourselves on.  As a small business our clients will always know who to call with any questions. From the initial consultation, through the building stages and finally to handover, we are in constant consultation with our clients. 

We make it our duty to personally work with each client to help construct design ideas and styles, so we can work with their existing floor plans or help to design a plan specifically to meet their needs and suit their budget.

 

We understand people have different needs, so whether it’s a five-bedroom home complete with parent’s retreat or a three bedroom home with a front office, we can work with our clients to design a space that is truly unique to them.

Climate, budget and finance are important factors when building a home, so we work with our clients to provide suitable and functional design that will not only suit their budget but one that they can call home.

Daniel and his father were active in their local community for many years and was the primary builder behind the renovation of the Saez family home which featured on the Nine Network's Domestic Blitz in October 2008.

 

The pair were already friends with the Saez family and when they heard about the Domestic Blitz project, they rallied up all their sub-contractors to help donate their time and materials to help surprise their friends. Read their story below:

Alicia is a former journalist who has worked in the print media industry for over 11 years as both a journalist and editor.

 

She held many positions from editor/writer, feature writer,  property writer/production manager to a home interiors and lifestyle editor and writer.  While working in those last couple of positions, she found she had developed a passion for both property/real estate and interior design and styling.  

 

Now, with her experience in the media industry and being part of the property world with her husband, Alicia is passionate about helping others find their sense of creativity.
